Nerys Jones

Nerys is a photographer and mother of two who lives in London. She is a post-graduate of Central Saint Martins.

After working in a respected photo lab for a number of years and meeting a variety of photographers working across different genres, she knew she wanted to work behind the camera herself. Becoming a mother inspired her to photograph and document her growing daughter, which introduced her to the world of kids’ fashion and has led to shooting editorials and campaigns across womenswear, kidswear and menswear.

Nerys also practised & studied contemporary dance and this has informed her love of the human form and to strive to capture unexpected shapes and angles. This lends Nerys’ imagery a mix of freedom, playfulness and energy, yet retaining tender moments of stillness and awkwardness.

Strongly influenced by music, dance & youth culture, Nerys is determined to promote inclusivity and unity in her work.
